"Networking, commitment, motivation and dedication......." are all important, but it can lead to either way; noble or evil.

What I think is LOVE towards the mankind is very important and we should create environment for every child in the world to grow up in an atmosphere surrounded by love.

well i do agree that love would be good, i just don't see that as the way to solve or help much in this day and age... networking is the main tool we as youth can use to our advantage, and we must if we are to help change the world for the better!

The most effective way for youths to realize the dream of global peace is to never join the military to fight in wars. Governments could never start a war without your help. Be a conscientous objector to any conflict except to overthrow your own Government, If you believe your own Government is evil.

We can organize, and protest any moves done by governments that lead to war, which would in any case cause the deaths of millions of young people. Who are the leaders of nations to tell the young people of the world to fight over what is inherently all human's? The wealth and prosperity that the world offers is being controlled by a few greedy people bent on capitalizing off of humanity's means of survival to elevate their existence to grotesque levels of wasteful materialism.

We cannot be naive in thinking that we are threatened by a common enemy whenever a public leader says so, or when the media outlets spew propaganda into the millions of homes that have access to internet or television, because it is most likely a political ploy to gain wealth. It is up to the young men and women around the world to stand up against orders to kill, or to the false feelings of pride that develop with the rise of unnecessary patriotism/nationalism, which are used to gain your support for stupidities such as war/aggression.

It can be done. It just takes incredible strength of mind and a profound sense humility to understand that we are not threatened by anyone, because in reality the world will not stop turning on its axis, the only thing that can stop is the existence of human beings and the beauty of all life on planet earth, but even then, life will go on with or without humans.

The first thing I would suggest is to use the power of the internet, through the social networking channels that offers fast communications of ideas and planning. This could also be used to stage massive protests against aggression. If there were enough people in all cities around the world to stand up against war and famine, it could be done through mobilization of the youth peace movements that are organized online.

Its up to us young people of planet earth, don't let old men and women, who love aggression and war as a means to their sinister ends, control our destiny, to be free and independent human beings with the guarantee that we can live in peace.

You are right that there are only a select few that have access to internet, however, there are a couple of programs happening now. i can't remember who is providing the service but i'm sure you can search the web and find it, anyway, these programs provide internet to impoverished areas of africa using mobile "internet-hubs", which use a large steel container that is powered by solar power with batteries and have generators on-board, and also can be connected to the local electric grid. This can be installed at any civic center or anywhere in a village and provides fast satellite internet to the community. Also my father has done a similar project a few years ago on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, USA. He wrote a grant asking the U.S. government to fund a project that connects all the communities on the Reservation by satellite internet. This service is still working today, all the navajo people now have access to internet and can function normally in this technologically modern world (I may add that the Navajo people are among the poorest people in the U.S., with an unemployement rate of almost 48%).
This is a feasible solution, it just takes a good writer who can argue for funding from private or government institutions.

hay fellas! hope all are OK, well peace has always been my first priority ,for without peace , we are doomed in everything, as for what we can do as young people to achieve global peace,i believe we should shun all forms of violence perpetuated in our own individual capacity first, yes are times we feel obliged to express our frustrations on how the older generation handles key issues of governance that have great impact on our very daily life or even our existence, but then the question is does violence solve anything? if yes it would have solved problems in the first and second world war, where nations involved are grappling with the aftermath to date! we can air our voices , present memorandums of dissatisfaction, decide to go slow, and peaceful boycott instead of violence , ,secondly we can engage diplomacy in our own locality , in schools , collages ,universities, neighborhoods, by making peace between people, we can educate people on the need to co-exist,
