Well, As I follow the news from Kenya, especially of the resignations of Min for Justice and Constituional affairs Hon. Martha Karua and her counterpart the Asistant Min for Medical Affairs Hon. Danson Mungatana I am left wondering are they doing that for a Kenyans? DO they really have the interest of Kenyans at heart or is it for personal ambitions and for self gain. Sometimes it is a little bit tricky comprehending politics and its players. My verdict; Although it might be of good to Kenyans, it is solely strategic move for personal ambitions of the two.What say you?
Is Hon. Martha Karua's and Hon. Danson Mungatana's resignation from Mwai Kibaki's Goverment done for Kenya's interest?

It might be a question of strategy.Martha has her eyes set on 2012.Mungatana...well i dont really know why.
Eitherway I support her(martha)resignation.She was a great MAN!
I think she should run for president.

Well Amani I agree with you totally, She seemed the most sensible person in Goverment, Well I also want to caution us, We could be very gullible now especially with the leadership crisis we are facing, Think about it: When we needed minimum reforms before the elections, Martha was the greatest opposer of minimum reforms and what did that put us into, a rigged election post election violence where hundereds of lives were lost and so much property too, and now she is speaking with a reformers mind! these people could just be the same you know!! I hope we really get carefull in how we look at it!

I think Martha did the right thing. I would do the same if i was in the same position.
The president is being mislead by some Old guides to over look Marthar's position in the Gov. She fought for Kibaki and this is a good reason why he should not see her as a woman but as a strong leader. May be he want Us Mt. Kenya people to vote for another person but the choice remain we us. We can give any able Kenyan
I am not for Martha when it comes to 2012 presidency, She can try but we are yet to know her strength as a president.
Presidency is not a joke. I will give my vote to anyone who will have shown some good reason to be The Kenyan president. I don't care tribe or sex. This is the way to go. Come ooooooon Kenya. Stop politics and let as work and aim at getting the right people to work.

Smason! I like your point of view! I also appreceate that you take time to put yourself into Hon. Martha Karua's shoes, Your committement to vote any able candidate come 2012 regardless of tribe or affiliation is good, that is what we need of every kenyan, Please Samson tell me; If we only had two candiates and they all happened to be from Mt Kenya Region, i.e Hon. Uhuru and Hon Karua, who would you vote in?
