Not by immitating other's culture, preserving own.........but I wish God could help in this.We know we have to preserve our culture and identity but cant help ourselves because its human nature.... So to have cultural identity lets change ourselves and lets see whether the world follows you!!!!!!

A huge part of our culture and identity is expressed through the language(s) we use in our daily lives.
Being multi-lingual I'm able to jump between distinct modes of being with multiple words for almost everything I experience in my daily life. Living in another language is like existing within a new rhythm, and one way that colonizing states have dominated other cultures has been to control the languages spoken or officially recognized.
As the vehicle for communication, I think we need to pay more attention to the language we use, the values which are built into them.
What do you think about the relationships between language, culture, and identity?

Hey guys.
I think you missed the central issue qithin this aspects. I mean language is really an important point in understanding of cultural aspects and identities, but just being able to speak a language doesn't make you a part of a different culture. In my case I was often faced with my German identity, even though I am able to communicate in various languages. So I am not considered being a part of foreign cultures, although I can speak.
Considering this you have to differ between languages and cultural identities.
Although I can see your point I felt the need to clarify that...
