Very simple - Don't drive a car - use public transport or cycle everywhere.
Eat locally produced foods, with no additives.
Cheers

Cleaning the environment is easy, at least when everybody in the society is commmited to do it, but
if not, it can be a very daunting task. Cleaning the environment can be done by various methods
depending on what you want the clean the environment from. If it is greehouse gases, then use less
electricity by turning things off and using energy efficient products. If its about plastics, then
use paper, jute or cotton bags instead of plastic ones. If its about smog, take public transport
whenever you can and use fuel efficient cars.
The list is endless. If everyone around you does it, following only a few will do. If only you are
are committed, doing everything in the endless list might not be enough. So involving and inspiring
other people is also part of the job.

Keep electronics out of the trash.
Gaetan Lee/flickr Keep your cell phones, computers, and other electronics as long as possible.
Donate or recycle them responsibly when the time comes. E-waste contains mercury and other toxics
and is a growing environmental problem.
Recycle your cell phone.

Hi.
I'm campaigning to prevent climate change and have made the following video to create awareness.
Watch it and please RATE it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs7aZ4KIL3k
Also pass it on to other like-minded individuals who want to change the world for the better.

Hi, first time posting.
I think all of the above are great. There is no one way to help the Earth and use too. There are
hundreds, if not more ways, to do our share. We all helped make the mess, we all have to help clean
house.
I think on of the easiest ways, and it's something we do every day, is to change the way we keep our
homes clean. It's scary what you find in some of those cleaning products. It's the trickle down
effect. Less toxins from your home, less, less toxins being made.
Keep the ideas coming and everyone should pick a new one and add it to what they already do.

I think the biggest issue is awareness and commitment. If people were more aware of the consequences
of their actions on the environment, I'm sure everyone would play a bigger role in going green.
Also, I think there are little changes everyone can make that will ultimately help make the world a
greener place:
- Conserve energy. Switch off the lights when you're not using them, only use as much hot water as
you need, switch to energy efficient lightbulbs and appliances.
- Look for sources of renewable energy. Solar heating is a good one if you live in a cold climate. I
recently found out that a lot of my heating was lost through the windows and cracks of my home. Get
energy efficient window treatments installed (they use natural light to conserve heat in your home;
Levolor makes some good shades with energy shield) and filled the cracks with insulation tape. Last
winter, I saved a significant amount from the heating costs.

thanks for the important issues which is consider an global and universal issues
specially were any behavior either with or against the environment and earth anywhere will reflect
to world totally so we should care and think before we do anything... due what will going to our
life later on
so there is many way we could serve and save our life and our earth such as
use a natural material for our hugine even in house level or in body level also we have to reduce
using the chemical product in our food which in indirect way could reach to our environoment
although we look out to the material that used in our farming for instant the fertilizers and the
pesticides toward to organic farming that reduce the dangerous of chemical which threat our earth
also we have pay attention to our natural resources such as which i think is globally is the water
we should think with rationally way to recycle water for irrigation purposes as well as for flushing
and cleaning also keep the forest trees from cutting for heating purposes...
to other way of using renewable energy, and enactment the lows and legistlation
i belive it is amazing subject and we have to think it seriousely which could raise the harm on our
environoment
regards

How we can clean our Environment
I suppose this could be interpreted as either macro-scale cleanup, or micro-scale cleanup on the
individual level. On a micro-scale level, I've been making all my own household cleaning products
for a few years now. You should consider it too! It saves the environment (particularly local
aquatic ecosystems connected to your drainage and water-processing infrastructure), not to mention
money!
http://eartheasy.com/live_nontoxic_solutions.htm
Originally I was worried about the "natural" products not getting the job done relative to all the
harsh chemicals we've grown accustomed to - but I can say without a doubt that they definitely do.
My housemates and I did a few petri dish experiments to prove it
This isn't global cleanup or anything, but why be part of the pollution problem when you don't need
to be? Give it a shot! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------- The time to act is NOW. For the orangutans, for the global climate, and for the rural
people that have depended on these forests for generations. Please, help me help them by watching:
