Children In prison Initiative - HELP!

Dear Friends,
I am writing to you to ask for your help to ensure Children's Rights are respected.
Youth Action for Change (www.youthactionforchange.org), through 'The Children in Prison Initiative', is now launching a petition to help detained children in Diyarbakir, Turkey. Four children have been unlawfully arrested for taking part in a political rally asserting Human Rights for Kurdish people, and have been detained in a facility for adults as of July for 'political reasons'. After receiving a personal letter from their relatives - some of which involved with YAC's programs - we decided to to something.
The children have been subjected to inhumane, cruel and degrading treatment - including tortures and abuses - since then, with limited food and water. They face a 37-year sentence each. Like them, over 100 kids are currently detained for the same reasons.
We are currently collecting signatures from anyone who would like to stand up for these children and uphold Human Rights in Turkey and worldwide. If you are interested, please send me your full name, city and country by March 5th (yacpress@gmail.com). We will then compile a list and submitte it to several people in Turkey.
Please spread the word among your friends and networks too.
Thank you for your kind help and attention, together we can help them.
Best,
Michela Bettinelli Rossi
