Wrongful convictions truly challenge our society’s social and legal boundaries. WC’09 is happening to: raise awareness of the occurrence of wrongful convictions within our legal system, engage and analyze the topic from a variety of perspectives, and discuss the implications it has for law, society, and the social perspective of criminality.
