With the recent take-over by the military Junta in Guinea, though a bloodless coup, what is our view as regards military regine.
Before now, we all know that the AU in all its ramification frowns at military government in any part of Africa.
There has been call by most african leaders for the military Junta to handover to a democratically elected government, instead of trying to be at the helm of affairs irrespective of the fact that the military Junta has received support from the Libyan Leader Mohammed Gadafi (Thisday Newspaper, 6/01/2009).
So what's your own view, should the military continue or handover to a democratically elected government. what are the benefits of military rule over democratic rule and vice versa?
