Am Vidhya, New entrant to ur site.. Was jus browsing for the latest happenings in IT sector, n jus like tat came across this site.. But the site seems more interesting than i actually thought of.
I would like to kick start my discussion with relevance to the LAY-OFF'S tat's creating a havoc...I learnt that Microsoft is ready with its pink slips and is gonna to cut down its payroll by 10%.
My question is do u all really feel that this is quite a natural scenario due to the economic conditions  r jus a major fool play by the companies to show off that they cant afford high salaries ???????????? 
How is it tat a company can become bankrupt all of a sudden? Were the companies not aware of their economic position through the months? How could the employees be sacked off their job jus because they are to be paid more???
