Access to safe drinking water for Zimbabwe
December 22, 2008 - 08:32 AM

The cholera outbreak is getting steadily worse. I spoke to a young man at the South African Zimbabwean border who told me that nothing works in his country, pipes are broken and the only water they have access to is contaminated. I'm raising money to import solar powered water pumps (Villager-3) specifically designed for disaster areas and could use all the support I can get.
Help me in any way you can to get these badly needed pumps into the Limpopo and Zimbabwe - one pump will save a number of lives.
Please contact me if you feel you can be of assistance.
You can follow my progress on my beta site; www.hillsidedigital.com

Merry Christmas

Danny

cool, solar powered water tanks, when are intending to get them there? I can spread the word to our Me to We (humanities) council, and womens club to help raise money in the new year. Great initiative!

Hi Vishi,

The cholera outbreak is getting steadily worse with more communities becoming infected, this will get worse when the rains start.
The moment I've raised enough funds is when I'll get them in. The solar pumps are manufactured in America so the sooner the better.
Thank you for getting involved.

Regards,
Danny
