Report of the latest Global Trends series
November 22, 2008 - 11:35 PM
|
|
Just released "Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World" has predicted many things from decline of Al Qaeda, Emergence of China/India/Brazil over US, scarce food and water supply, nuclear weapons to global warming.
"Although the United States is likely to remain the single most powerful actor, the United States’ relative strength — even in the military realm — will decline and U.S. leverage will become more constrained,” the report said.
As Obama is about to take office by Jan, would this report be a challenge for his governance??

The future belongs to people who are able to negotiate and work together peacefully. What is stopping all the countries in one region from doing that? What would happen if all the countries in Africa decided to cooperate?
It's amazing how people who have been fighting for centuries arrive in America and live together peacefully, work together, and find new ways to do business together. If only they could manage to do that in their own country!

The strategy of declining Al-Qaeda is necessary for making the 21st century, a century of civilized society for this beautiful Earth. The internet technology has made the people of Earth as if belonging to a one family. There is no place for terrorists in this world. Terrorism can be combated in different angle. One way by taking offensive step, a united effort, where by the menace of terrorism will be root out by killing terrorists mercilessly. The other way by wining the hurt of terrorists, by educating and solving the problems which had caused the terrorist to undertake such a drastic step to do or die effort. Thanks.
