How can we prevent pollution?!

The past-facing development of each country, is also the past-facing of pollution problems in our society. Although, preventive measures has already been done for the purpose of it. But still the issue started from time and memorial: IF HOW CAN WE PREVENT POLLUTION IN OUR SOCIETY?
Developed Countries is the one who is affected with this kind of problems. Maybe we should start from the grassroots level in our society and from our home itself. Preventive actions and doings is the result of what will happens next?!! Pollution is not an easy problems that can be solve by the proper and right authorities... Pollution is an enemy of our society and is already a shadow in our day-to-day life activities...
Gracias!

i agree with you, if people are serious about helping the environment, than the first steps to be taken are your own backyards. For those who aern't australian or don't understand what i mean when i say that, i mean that we should should start with what we are doing in day to day life. Think before you act. Is what i am about to do going to hurt or affect the environment around me in a negative way? If so, think of other solutions to the problem at hand in such a way that it doesn't hurt the environment. The greatest problems are solved, step by step and the hardest step to take is the first but once you take that step and start thinking about what you are doing than gradually you won't even have to think about what you are doing, it will become part of your daily routine.

Nowadays, we are aware that there is a big issues with regards to our environment and mostly of us are aware. Each country there is already a preventive measures that being stablished to the said headache of our society. POLLUTION PROBLEMS!
But, as what i said before, even we have a massive campaign for it, if we are not contributing in our own way. Nothing will ever happens in our campaign.... It should be a responsible act and again it should start in our own sorroundings!!! To safeguard the interest of our future generation to come...

In order to tackle bigger issues involving pollution we have to first tackle the little issues that involve air pollution and the state of peoples health around us and if that means that ciggerette smockers have to regulate where they smoke than so be it. They should be concerned more with what could happen to them in there future verses finding places that they can smoke a CANCER STICK!!

In some cities in the Philiippines, there is a law to regulate the smokers. Like in government offices, they implemented that there should be a place to let the smokers have thier own place and time to smoke, so that prevention will be avoidable.
A city ordinance was passed and its working GRADUALLY now for the good of all. Recent findings by the World Bank, more 500 million people now died in Asian Region, caused by Pollution alone.
"(If car numbers keep increasing at the present rate, there will be more than a billion on the road by 2025. Today, motor vehicles put out 900 million tonnes of carbon dioxide a year - about 15 per cent of our total output. More vehicles will mean more global warming.
Also by 2025, two-thirds of the world's people will live in cities, so traffic jams and pollution will loom large in most people's lives. Worst of all will be the megacities of Asia. Beijing, Shanghai and Calcutta will each be home to as many as 20 million people, Bombay to 25 million.
Life in the country may not be much better. Asia is heading for a downpour of acid rain that will destroy forests and wither crops. The worst hit look like being Thailand, south-east China, north-east India and Korea, where economic growth is powered by fossil fuels rich in sulphur
Industrialised nations have reduced SO2 emissions. They have also cut production of CFCs and halons, the chemicals that destroy stratospheric ozone. But the ozone layer is not yet safe. Under the Montreal Protocol, developing nations have until 2010 to cut production. There is still a black market in CFCs, and halon production has increased in countries such as Brazil, India, Mexico and China)".

POLUTION ABATEMENT
a high question that is realised to us when enviroment is detoriated to much. but the is time to take step to stop that.now we need enviromental friendly mechnism to move with the nature. it is important that every individual understand his resposibility towards the enviroment, so that change start at the individual level rather then puttting gizmo rule.

Difficult here

Saving the envoirnment from pollution is a somehow easy in the west then it is here in the 3rd world.
We have all the unhealthy means fo genearating energy and almost very limmited electricity and qas.
Forests are cut day by day and we are losing all he trees that once we were famouse for having only because our people need to burn them to heat their homes and to generate energy.
Just imagine how bad a consequence is this cutting of the forest trees gona have????

We are a group of 4-6 grade students from East Orange NJ. We are actively involved in a recycling education program. We would like the support of others around the world to help set up a recycling program at their school or community. If you would like to join us in this project please reply to us and visit our project TIG information.
Thank you.
