TO BLACK PEOPLE : You have no more excuses about White people.
TO WHITE PEOPLE : Thank you for making this moment possible . Thank you for judging him not , on the color of his skin , but the content of his character
This is a Strong connerstone for pure democracy for the world which America has laid and other nations must embrace this

The change has come...
The extracts from Obama's winning speech,
"This is our time to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth, that, out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope. And where we are met with cynicism and doubts and those who tell us that we can’t, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can.”

last night was no doubt, a remarkable night in the history of American Election the World was watching. Even I've heard kenya has declared today is the public holiday, just because an Afro-American became a US president. The highest office of United nation at last 'shatters the racial barrier'! But hard days are ahead for Obama-Biden presidency...it is heading towards a $1 Trillion Federal deficit this year. He's also in a dilemma of Iraq War. Everything is not going to be settled in days, might not be in his 1st term. But definitely this awesome victory gives hope what America 'can and must achieve tomorrow'!
man it has been such an intoxicating event for me, hence I'm not an American, but I is clear what it could be to youth of United states be it black, latino or white!

Certainly, in large parts of the world, Obama will be a welcome change after eight years of George Bush, whose efforts to change the world as he found it had some disastrous consequences.
Obama will be a breath of fresh air in almost every part of the world.

As much as this election has been heralded as being a historic moment. I truly wish alot more people will stop looking at it as a victory for black people or coloreds and see it for what it truly is a victory for Unity.

I think Obama has the potential to be a good president. His change campaign was effective in my opinion.
What kind of change he will bring remains to be seen.

I am really excited for the next 4 years, not just becuase he is a man of colour, but because he signals promise. I think that for the most part peopl in America did not really think about Obama being black, but Obama being a strong leader that could carry away the United States from the legacy of the past four years. I hope that Obama's recognized internationalism will give him the down to earth perspective that will lead to serious changes in the way that the US conducts itself abroad - I hope to see them increase aid to Africa and parts of south-east Asia as required as well as begin to recognize other sovereign countries as equals rather than pawns or toys.

This US election moved a lot of us here in Asia. It is indeed a revolution of sorts. But I also agree with some of you who said that people should stop regarding this as a victory for the black people only. Again, by making such remark, we are still in a way reproducing a system of division - black and white; white and colored; Christians and Muslims; so on and so forth. If we truly believe in unity, we should all think as one regardless of differences. After all we are all different individually and we can't change that fact. But what we can do is to find the common human interest; the point where we could all live in peace and justice.

Research on campaign promises made by presidents during the last 200 years of American history reveals that 98 percent of Presidential promises are never kept.Obama is one man with great potential for change, but everything is done in consensus. For example: Obama named Rahm Emanuel as his Chief of Staff...An Israeli born citizen who has gone on record as a War Hawk for Israel and volunteered for the Israeli Defense Forces during the Gulf War. Rahm's father belonged to the Israeli terrorist group Irgun. American foreign policy will not change as long as special interests, lobbyists and backroom deals continue to be made with foreign and corporate interests. It is too early to celebrate.
