Hey all,
TIG is partnering with TED - a great organization that believes in "Ideas Worth Spreading" - to promote an awareness campaign they have on XDR TB - eXtremely Drug Resistant Tuberculosis. You can click on that link to learn more about this disease, and see how photographer James Nachtwey is using some of his very compelling and visually arresting photographs to raise awareness.
Some of the things you can do at xdrtb.org include signing a petition, sharing the video, and even downloading a toolkit! I've uploaded the toolkit here on TIG's databases.
I'm also curious to know - are there any members on the TIG community that have had first-hand experience with XDR TB? Whether yourself, or someone you know is afflicted? Please share your story here!
