You know how you can post updates? What are you supposed to put? Is it restricted to your achievements or your opinions on world issues, or is it like a blog, where you can post daily about what you did and stuff?
While I'm here, may I suggest two things:
* The site in general: Make a RSS backend so that people can put this site's latest posts on their desktop
* Rename this forum to "TakingITGlobal Site Issues / Feedback

whatever you want!

Hi Sunny,
You can put whatever you want in your updates. Everyone chooses to put something different. I usually rant about experiences or news that inspires me to discuss it.
Thanks for your suggestions. Can you tell me more about how we can create a RSS backend? We currently have XML links, some of which don't work because of special characters, for each person's updates page. I could put together a feed that lists the latest updates if I had a spec of how to do it.
I've renamed this board -- good idea. We want site issue info as well so we can be as accessible as possible.

I'm not sure on how to do it, but a backend for recent forum posts looks like something on these lines: http://neowin.net/backend.php?page=forum
You could check the VBulletin resource sites...

I think you can use HTML tags .. well at least the tag works.

Bah. It doesn't work for me. Maybe I'm just doing something stupid. I'll keep trying.

I figured out what I was doing wrong (finally). In posts, you have to use [] to enclose the tags, whereas in updates you use the <> that I'm used to. Hooray!
