Abortion for genetic reasons, right or wrong?

The genetics and abortion issue is an extension of the abortion debate and the disability rights movement.
In many countries, abortion is available on request up to a certain point in the pregnancy. No particular reason is necessary.
In other countries however, abortion is ilegal and only permited when congenital disorders are detected in the fetus before birth, when the pregnancy is a result of rape or the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother.
Many have argued that abortion because of congenital disorders in the fetus is unethical and infringes upon the rights of the diasabled. The foetus has the right to be born whether disabled or not.
