Republican drives 600 miles to vote for Obama

Aaron Wheeler said he's voting Democrat for the first time ever.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (CNN) Sometimes you stumble on stories. Thursday was one of those times.
We were outside Veterans Memorial in Columbus reporting on early voting. I approached a man with an I just voted sticker on his lapel to ask him whether hed encountered any lines. The lines werent bad he said, with a broad smile. Lines were the last thing on Aaron Wheelers mind as he explained why he drove 600 miles back to his old hometown from Virginia, where he moved this month, to vote in what he called one of the proudest days of his life.
Tears come out of my eyes as I cast my ballot, he said. I voted for Barack Obama today.

My response to the comments above: Tears also came out of my eyes as I finished going through Aaron's story. I have never loved Obama because he is a black man or pray for him always because he is not a white man, knowing that whether white or black all men have their imperfections as well as perfection.

When you read the story of late Martin Luther King and other civil rights greats who tried to define humanity as having nothing to do with the skin colour but the content of the human character, and how those great civil right liberators were irrelevantly tortured because of their skin colour ,and the amount of effort the black man and woman have to put into achieving their set goals and ambition, not because of their incapability, but because of the colour of their skin; you just want to kneel down and thank God and wish for nothing, but Obama's victory.

I do not see Obama as messiahs or saint, the good thing about Barack Obama, is that he openly admit that he is neither saint nor messiah, but that all men are either saints or messiahs, if only they would ponder or do the very right things that would establish their footprints on the sand of time. Obama carried truth in him instead of the rhetoric of deceits that is common place amongst a majority of politicians.
Obama speaks to the spirit and not the flesh and the spirit is rekindled to realization and strives. How I pray for Barack Obama, after his closing argument' in Ohio 45 minutes ago!
On Senator McCain, Why is he fighting and speaking at the same time? Let’s make the world a better place for all.
