justification!

Just the other day, one of US Billioner's came out with an adds with regards to the so-called US invasion in Iraq. Wether the US-British and its Allied lead war in Iraq in justifiable?! The purposed of the invasion is the chemical warfare that Iraq is producing. But until now, the war is over and it seems the post-war is getting worsening each day because every now and then, there is a retaliation from the enemies.
So, it seems the war in Iraq is not yet justifiable due to none discovery of true chemical and biological weapons! What is now the role of the UN Security Council then?! Will they still cover for the US allegations?
We just wait and see?!!!
Gracias!

When I first heard the war talk stirring, I thought the main objective was Saddam, and maybe oil. When they said it was for WMD's, I knew it was a way to convince the world to let us go, even though that was not the objective. Personally, I know it was never about the weapons, nor do I really care if they find any or not. Even after the government said they were going after the WMD's, everyone here (US) still knew, it was just about Saddam. However, I do think they will find them (especially after the reports that they found 30 planes buried in the sand).

When we went to Iraq, I didn't realize that we were accusing them of having nuclear weapons, I just thought we were looking for them. Without any actual evidence of nuclear weapons, we went to war. This was not entirely wrong, nor was it right. I believe we needed to get Saddam Hussein out of rein, but needed to take a different approach towards nuclear weapons.
