Re: Legalising prostitution. Right or wrong?

There are several implications why prostitution should remain illegal. Many cultures would always raise the moral issues on fidelity and sanctity of marriage. But of course these are all issues bounded within the culture of Christians and all other groups who view sex as something sacred. There are also health complications brought about by sexual contacts such as HIV/AIDS. If prostitution be made legal, though strict guidelines would be set up, there is still a very high possibility that people would get infected. Legality opens doors not only to promiscuity but also to elements of hell that were kept locked up (disease for example) for good reasons. For me who prefers to stick my Christian morals would rather keep human beings human beings with dignity, and not give them the option to turn themselves into slut machines. Let sexual passion remain in the confines of two persons who love each other. Let sexual intercourse be priceless and be achieved only where true love reigns. Let sex be founded in deep responsibility for humanity and commitment to the preservation of life.
