[Poll] Morality

"You cannot be more concerned with your own moral standing than with the results you seek to achieve." Madeleine Albright from - Memo to the President Elect
Is Madeleine Albright’s statement fundamentally flawed or can you really hope to achieve a moral end by apparently amoral means?
Can you achieve a moral end by amoral means?
I don't know

No

Yes

I already forgot the question

I voted yes, because the end justifies the means or something like that. Like the way ppl have fought wars to stand for what they believe in e.g against slavery.

I agree with that but I guess whether or not the ends do justify the means are the opinion of the individual and or group. If people didn't fight back against people who were willing to attack their beliefs, freedom etc where would we be.
Then again you do have examples in history were people have used moral means to achieve a moral end with less problems that would have occurred if an immoral method was used.
I guess using a moral method to achieve a moral end is preferable than using a immoral method to achieve a moral end but then again you can use a moral method to achieve a immoral end.
But yes it is possible to achieve a moral end with an immoral method, I went with yes.
