Having studied enough, ensure you read in between the lines of the questions very well before answering; enjoy good speed while doing that as against your time. Note that you must be able to do that which you know how to do at lesser time. otherwise, you don't know.

Be sured of your answers. And dont chose if you are not sure.

Go for the ones you know first and skip ones you are no t sure of. Only to come back to the skipped ones latter having finished with the ones you know. Note that it's better not to answer at all than to answer and fail.

Be time consciouce.

Be prayerful.

Believe in yourself as your mind tells you that good success is yours in the test. And disregard totally any otherwise.

Maintain integrity and dignity. I mean "do not indulge in any forms exam malpratices".

finally, create excitement for yourself and ensure you put a good smiling face. Note that success is born out of excitement for good things and ends with hapiness.

ALL THE GOOD LUCKS.

Hints I give my students are as follows:
APART FROM LEARNING THE WORK THOROUGHLY YOU CAN:

1. Eradicate the nonsense distractors (one or two answers are rubbish)
2. From the answers that remain look for the answer which best fits the question
3. In Mathematics (if possible) substitute the answers into the question OR work backwards from the answer.

Cheerssmile

here in the Philippines, there are a lot of test taking tips when it comes to Multiple choice type of questionnaire depending on your field..

1. If you dont know the answer, answer C.
- 60% of the answers is C

2. Phrases that contain "all, none, several, few" are usually wrong.

3. Not all "none of the above" or "all of the above are usually correct, but most of the time that is the right answer.

4. If you are given a choice which is " Both a and b" or "A,B, and D", analyze again the choices because there are times that they contradict with each other, but most of the time, they are the correct answer.

5. Make sure you understand the question because usually the answer to the question is also located in the question itself... it just tricked you at times.

.................

Most of all study first before you take the test. Multiple choice - format question will just help you to have an answer in the worst time that you dont have any answer.
It is like a bonus for you.....

Analysis is better but dont over analyze it, you might end up failing the test...

If you know none of the answers use the scantron sheet to make pictures of robots. If you know most but not all, always guess. You don't lose anything that you wouldn't have lost by not answering (unless you lose points for every wrong answer in which case don;t answer them all).

If you are stuck between two pick c) or e). Most of the time select all of or none of the above. Don;t second guess yourself.

When you read a multiple choice question, cover up the answers. Think about the question carefully and how you would answer it if you didn't have the answers. Then look at the answers and see which one fits your personal answer best.

I agree with the first part. However... In most tests I've taken, no marks were taken off for wrong answers. So guessing is very smart if it gets you extra marks. If you are penalized for wrong answers, then guessing is only helpful if you can narrow down the answers (say from 5 to 2, giving you a better chance).
