War on terror
August 2, 2003 - 12:19 PM

In New York City, people will gather on September 11th of this year to remember and reflect on the events of two years ago and to mark the second anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Many would wear memorial ribbons and hold pictures of people who died when hijacked airliners destroyed the twin towers.
Mourners would place flowers, pictures and American flags in the memorial circle at the 16-acre concrete pit that formed the foundation of the trade center.

Flags would fly at half-staff, as bagpipers would fill the air with the solemn sound of "Amazing Grace."
Again on that day, we would take into our hearts and minds those who perished on that site two years ago and also those who came to toil in the rubble to bring order out of chaos and those who, throughout these 24 months, have struggled to help the people in despair.
Remembrances will continue, as they have every day since the towers fell, and as they will for years -- and anniversaries -- to come.
Now, two years later, no one seems to know what has happened to the world's most wanted man- Bin Laden.
The US in its war on terrorism is broadening its operations by providing military assistance to countries fighting against terrorist groups. As the war on terrorism moves beyond Afghanistan, the United States remains still on alert for more acts of terror. As long as Terrorism remains a collective means for conflict resolution, there can be no peace on earth. How far the war on terrorism by the peace loving countries and the strategy adopted by them to counter terrorism are successful is not known.
To counter terrorism I had given a suggestion to Mr.Bush. I sent an E-mail on 25th May 2002 to Mr.Bush and copies to The First Lady, the Vice President and The second Lady. I got only automated reply e-mails. No action seems to have been taken on the suggestion given by me. My e-mails must have perished in the trash bins of White House. Copy of my e-mail is appended. Will any body put my suggestion into the ears of Mr.Bush in the interest of global peace?
My e-mail to the President George W.Bush is attached
