Senator Biden and Governor Palin
October 3, 2008 - 03:06 PM
|
|
The performance she exhibited last night was less than Governor Sarah Palin. She confirmed my anxiety about her fitness for the office, a heart-beat away to the Presidency. She was all show and not a real substance. For ninety-minutes, she failed to tell the American people how different Senator McCain's Presidency will differ from President George W. Bush. She accused Senator Biden of looking backwards. She was wrong. Biden was right, because if you don't know where you're coming from, how can you know where you're going? She failed to explain Senator John McCain's maverick’s streak, not on taxes, not on Healthcare, not on education or anything else. In short, she failed to cut it for me.
In contrast, Senator Joe Biden was in complete command of the issues that matter. And he diplomatically avoided direct attack to the Governor, by attacking Senator John McCain, which I found useful.
Finally, she appeared as a scripted candidate. So, she's not ready to be Vice President of the United States.

I support your comments, the issue of V.P doesn’t really matter, but sometimes it does. I wasn’t comfortable with the debate between Biden and Sarah, because Sarah Palin is a design scripted V.P.
While we watch and see how Senator John McCain, will play this game. America deserved more than this intrigues and power play. My support remains on Senator Barck Obama and Joe Biden, the majority leaders! period.

Yeah ,thanks for bringing out this purely political topic for discussion. Yes, the US Presidency has a bearing on the world so it is worth discussing.
But lets not be overly critical of Palin. The world loves Obama and many are excited about the prospects of him becoming President. And thats okay. Would we have so criticised Palin if she was Obama's running mate. And also, i think she's a very pretty woman.
But no doubt Obama seems to have made a better choice for VP.

I hope Obama wins, not for how Black people would feel and look. Not what he's going to achieve or not achieve when he becomes the President. Obama seems to be a man of destiny, which seems to be well established.
For the only reason I hope he wins is because he deserved it. Obama has shown us all what hard work could accomplish. Only that and that alone endear him.
"Believe and hard work," all your wishes in life will come to pass!

BARACK OBAMA IS AN INSPIRATION. I TELL YOU THAT MAN HAS DONE SOMETHING TO ME. SOMETIMES WHEN I AM PONDERING THIS UPCOMING ELECTIONS AND I RE LOOK HOW FAR HE HAS COME ,IT MAKES ME WONDER ABOUT WHAT IS IN HIS HEAD. I WONDER WHAT THAT MAN THINKS ABOUT WHEN HE IS ALONE. whether he wins or not,Mr. Obama, has shaken the world to inspire so many men and women who are not only black but also white. OOOH what an example of success.
Well done Mr. Obama, may you live long. You have taught us to dream Big. May the God who has brought you this far ,finish what He started with you .Amen

We must learn how to support positively. Barack Obama has personally inspired me more than any presidential candidates in the world. I’m not saying this because I’m black but I’m simply saying the right thing that should be told. Senator Barack Obama has distinguished himself accurately and he has directly send a message to the globe and encouraging young people that we are all gifted to make a change in our world.
Wonderful: Obama’s support among even the Republican has grown from 9 percent to 12 percent a day after he received the endorsement of Republican former Secretary of state Colin Powell. Above all, the Americans are very comfortable with Barack Obama, because they feel he has good things in stock for the future of the young Americans and the world in general.
Yes, we can!

I am glad to see Hilary supporters coming to join Barack Obama to wrestle the white house out of the iron grip.

Yeah, i agree with you on that. I see Mr Obama as that President that will spear-head America's unification with the rest of the world. He is a thoughtful gentleman with the mind that appears deeper than his age suggests. Already, Key players in the Republican party have been impressed with his sense of maturity.
I also like his clean politics. This is the man that has gotten prominent men and women all over the world recommending to be president. If you doubt ,you may have to find a means to interview, grand pa Nelson Mandela, Kofi Annan, Nicholas Sarkozy, the queen of England, Mr. Bill Clinton(who is one of his advisors) and President George Bush himself who was impressed by his ideas on the financial crises. He has started implementing some of them.
But the key thing to note is that, all what we see happening in the United states presidential race is God Almighty showing the world that He is much involved in men's activities than we think. ITS A DIVINE ACT!

That remembers me, "Joe the Plumber". “Joe the Plumber” has been told by Senator BARACK OBAMA, that if your business earns less than $250,000.00 per annum, there wouldn't be a dime of increase on your tax. I think that settles what strategies to distract America voters.
In this process, Senator John McCain has demonstrated once again, that one can be a great soldier, without understanding the intricacies of the differences between tactics and strategy. That is one reason why every soldier cannot be a great commander-in- chief or even a commanding officer.
The fact remain, Senator John McCain, had his best debate performance, but it was not good enough. This election is God’s doing, which Senator BARACK OBAMA represents.

Yeah my friend. In many ways i agree with you on that.
You see, Mr MCCain wants to be rewarded with the presidency for his service to the nation but things dont work like that. To be a president you have to gain the trust and confidence of the people. I scorned in my head when i heard Madam Sarah Palin ranting about'' service to America'' as a reason why people should vote for Mccain. She thinks because Obama didnt wear an army uniform to face bullets and beatings so he has not served america. What about his efforts in the senate. Even George Bush never stepped on any battleground but is responsible for efforts on fighting terror.
