Hmmm.....well first of all Avis,i saw your profile and i was very impressed. i can say it is very loaded.
Well,i may not be able to give the total account of development in my country. But at the moment we are nearing a presidential election in two months time and so the focus has shifted from the sitting President and his government to the political campaigns.
I sometimes wonder how politics in recent times has gained so much global attention. Its good that these days people are being critical with politicians.
So thats whats happening in Ghana now. What about you.

it's nice to see that you are very concerned when it comes to the development of your own homeland. by the way, i'm from the Philippines. I know there are a lot of news tidbits when it comes to my homeland (both negative and positive). well, it's still part of the cycle. Anyways, when it comes to development, the people will begin from the very basic necessity, and that is concerning housing, education, and jobs. A lot of non-government organizations and concerned individuals become more creative when it comes to generation of funds and manpower to achieve multi-faceted goals to alleviate the poverty in our nation. A low-cost housing will do to provide decent life for a single family. As we know, many are still homeless in their own homeland, and that's a sad realization. Next is development in education, multiple grants are now available for those deserving, talented, but poor individuals who value education more than anything else. Lastly is Job. Right now, a lot of business outsourcing companies are flocking the country to provide jobs through the efforts of the government and private organizations. Through these, the country is now trying to stand again bit by bit from the havoc of its history.
Thanks for spending a minute of your precious time in reading my contribution here.
More power to us all!
