In praise of a brave woman

Doing the right is always more important and more correct than the usual political correctness, whether it is related to Palestine or Israel.
It is being waged by an Arab-Israeli woman named Nadia Hilou who has bucked the systems in Israel and in the Palestinian community to do what some thought impossible.
But there is some vocal opposition in Israel and among Palestinians. What angers them, I am sure, is that Nadia Hilou is so different and better than our failed political leaders who would rather do everything the old failed way than the new, right way.
She won't be silenced when children are murdered. She won't be silenced when a Christian minority needs educational support. She won't be silenced when a family is in need - Christian, Muslim or Jewish. And, she won't be silenced by extremists who criticize her because she is a Palestinian working from inside the Israeli system with a mainstream Israeli party doing more than pandering to political emotions.

what a woman, worthy of emulation. . .
I think, the moment we start to see ourselves as ONE, we cave room for PEACE. It doesn't matter the Religious group you belong to, neither does it matter the category of human race you fall into, black, white or chocolate? Once you're a fellow human, I see you as an equal being, I see you as my brother, I see you as my sister. Hence, together we make the world a better place to live.
Peace Out.

At least we need women to stand be brave but not to stay silent in any way or another, for they are the ones who feel the pain. Women will not be silenced Even when children are difiled, abused, killed or critised.

She has been dealing with the over-shadowed and often ignored issues like honor killings, the murder of children, social services for families, and helping to improve education, including for the fast disappearing Christian Arab citizens of Israel. Yet this has caused her some grief.

Abi
Ive seen it all now, first you preach about how you only look at BBC and CNN and now you really have proved me right you do only ever refere to tel aviv websites and news to preach your anti palestine and pro israelli stuff.
I think although we are quick to jump on a band wagon of praise such articles are released in order to give the naive reader (Abi) the impression that its all hunky dory in occupied palestine when its not I cannot trust anything that has propaganda written all over it like the highlighted links and story as it is not in the right reflection of what is actually hapening and the back up for this is the fact they are saying that both Israelly and plaestinians are aprehensive towards her hhhhhmmmm.
I was with Saleh Hassan a Palestinian farmer taking the British Goverment to court against thier export lisences of arms to Israel and guess what his lawyer is a Jew and Mr. Hassan has no problem with it, what this story implies that palestinians do not accept help from Jews which is far from the truth as you can get.......

Lib!
Just admit that women are doing better than you. So far, Some of the world's leading Islamic feminists have been gathered in Barcelona for the third International Congress on Islamic Feminism, to discuss the issues women face in the Muslim world.
Some of the women taking part in the conference explained the problems in their home countries, and where they hoped to make progress coz Not many women get information about women's rights easily, so have to counter what has been fed to them, to both men and women, from the strict, conventional, religious people who have more access to women..
Go go go women.
