Hi People,
I received this e-mail in my TIG inbox from a user using the user name gcwyo and both names are
GLOBAL YOUTH from USA.
Many scams invite people to register for a youth conference and are meant only to collect
registration fees. Please be aware and only pay fees when you are certain it is a legitimate even.
Common schemes include events taking place in both Guinea-Bissau or other country and the USA.
These may be scams:
>The International Conference on Racism and Child Abuse, in the USA and Napoli.
>World Conference Against Racism and Discrimination, in Washington D.C, USA and Dubai, United
Arab Emirates.
>Global Change World Youth Organization in Dakar and New York City.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Sean! Legitimate events will almost NEVER contact TIG
members through TIG Messenger and conferences that claim to take place in two separate countries or
cities are usually fake. We have a guide to detecting fraudulant events on the Event homepage here, and we encourage all TIG members to look over this guide before
contacting an event that is charging registration fees. Also - if you come across anything
suspicious please report it - like Sean has just done, so that TakingITGlobal staff members can
check it out.

I received the same message in my TIGmessanger and also in my personal email.And i have been
receiving many of these offers.
I tried to google the organisation i have failed to get them.
I think this is part of the 411 scams from west africa (i once saw this on the Oprah Show) on how
they act in these scams.
One way to quickly identify them is wrong spellings and poor grammar.These people do it a lot and im
sure no professional will do such to send out correspondence wich is smear with such pathetic
errors.
So be warned guys we dont want people to take advantage of your love of humanity and desire to
contribute to the betterment of the world!

Thank you very much for the information, I dont read such email anymore since i know i never applied
for such events,
Those who fall victims are always the desperate one who want to travel out of the country by all
means.
They should try and put a call through the hotel where the events is coming up or by simplying
typing out the event on google.
