First Impression
September 15, 2008 - 02:32 AM

The old saying about first impressions is true: The first impression you give others is your only chance to leave a good one. Studies consistently show just how much weight we give to our first impressions of others, whether it be at the bar or a party, at the office, on a first date or in the bedroom. Issues like dress, posture, language, and grooming can go a long way in building new and lasting relationships or in sinking them quickly. What do you think about this?

Thanks for your all ideas for the above topic.

Lionj i think you are right that somebody can not jude somebody in first impression but the first impression is very important. Because the first thing that comes in your mind by looking to someone's appearances which can give you positive or negative thoughts.

You can not accept somebody even he/she be very good person from inside but in reality you can get interested or wanna talk with somebody that he/she attract you by his/hers appearance or looking.

Well. I agree that first impression is the last impression and I hunderd percent support this but it is not important that one must jugde some one by the first sight in a sense that when you see some one for the first time offcourse you will get some ideas about him or her but it must not be the case to keep this picture for ever about that persone.

Very right Zohal jan. But the first impression is very important which put positive thoughts and shows the person's personality.

first impression indeed makes the last impression and they tend to shape our perception of something or someone.

At times though these can actually not be true for people can pretend to just make an impression!
