However, all the options stated on this poll including Poverty, Drugs Adiction, etc contributes to child labour. Its unfortunate the the Child Right Act is not recognized by the government and therefore, expose children to prostitution, hard jobs, drug injection and abuse.
Every time i read the Child Right Act, it dawn on me that children are far away from enjoying what is their right. YOu find out that no one cares to know nothing about anything called CHild Rights.
But I believe that its time for Change, we must rise in our different communities to advocate for the positive change we want to see and save the life of our young heroes (the children)...they are crying!

Mclato! I know, you know and everyone also know that it is time to make a change. But what we don't know is how to make a change? How you can do, how I can do, how everyone can do to make a change?
What the children who get suffer, what the environment which is getting polluted needs and what the living creatures including human beings need is not what you said that "we need to make a change" because millions of people know that and I even get bored of hearing the word because saying that " we need to make a change" means nothing to me. What we actually need is taking actions and getting involve.
For me, what I think I can do is to take the topic into account and discuss it with my friends then I share the ideas on the web so that other people from around the globe can read and understand that we think. Do you think it is a good idea?

Vichara,
The idea is quite good. but you know, words must be spoken which would then drive the action and that was what i exactly did.
So what's the next move.
1. We create the project titled "Stop Child Labour" on TIG
2. Put it on TIG's event catalogue - so that others could join the project.
3. Specify time-line where the moderators would be sending questions for participants to make contributions.
After the specified online project is
through,
4. A 3-day online forum would where participants would have the opportunity to make a one-time discussion on "Stopping Child Labour".
Finally, recommendations from our 3-week and 3-day online discussions would form working document for participants to present to their different state governments for a kick-off project spearheaded by the participants' in their communities on "Stopping Child Labour".
What do you think?
