What's inevitable if Iran continues to accelerate their nuclear program is heighten tensions and a more dangeorus middle east. This may lead to Israel taking preemptive actions against a rogue nation intent on destroying their very existence.
So I would say that an Israeli attack on Iran nuclear facilities may be inevitable and quite justified in light of the threat posed by Iran on Israel and the entire middle east.
Sarkozy would have no reason to say it unless Iran heeded to the demands of the international community.
