UNREST IN LIBERIAN
July 25, 2003 - 10:35 AM

I continue wondering why for God sake Africa nations are seen and presenting themselves cruel, barbaric and anti-development. Why must some certain set of people use we youths in a bad form for the realisation of their own mission..? I watched Liberia on the news yesternight and I felt sorry hfor the plight and predicaments the innocent people of Liberia are going through. Many people have been killed brutally by the so-called rebels who are being used by certain set of people whose any of their families are not included in the war.
I started crying seing people dying of bullet directly fired at them by the rebels. In fact, it's just terrible! My surprise is that the sponsorers of this unrest are in abroad sending monies and materials home to inflict terror on people...
Will UN be holding their jaws..? Will America act now before
it gets out of hands because Liberia was once their colony? What has been the efforts of the so-called African leaders to cease fire in Liberia.
Hope these leaders are not sleeping...

Liberia was never an American colony. It was founded by freed slaves in the 1840s or so.
