U.S. Privileges:
1. Freedom of speech and assembly.
2. Freedom to practice religion.
3. Freedom to vote as we so choose.
4. Freedom to talk about ideas, have ideals, + work to achieve them.
U.S. Setbacks:
1. The rich in our country get huge tax breaks and fund public officials who promote big business.
2. Rugged individualism has provoked a general apathy, which means lack of activism, participation, and appreciation for Constitutional rights.
3. While sexual violence against women is not supported, there is no mainstream action to prevent it.
4. The U.S. has nationwide chains which means that grassroots activism and local food distribution is not so popular.
