IGNITE THE AMERICAS: YOUTH ARTS POLICY FORUM

Hola! Salut! Hello! Oi!
We would like to inform you about an amazing and unique event taking place this year in Toronto, Canada from September 15 – 21! It’s called Ignite the Americas: Youth Arts Policy Forum and we are currently seeking passionate, experienced and innovative young artists and community leaders to participate as delegates. It is important that applicants through their work promote art and culture as effective tools for combating social exclusion and poverty.
During the forum delegates will share their ideas, experience, networks, strategies, and lessons learned in order to collaboratively build strong hemispheric partnerships and highlight on the policy level the potential of youth arts as a catalyst for cultural, creative and economic growth across the Americas.
Two delegates, representing each of the 34 OAS Member States will be selected to participate in this event. The Canadian government will cover associated expenses for each participating delegate, including transportation, accommodations, and per diems.
