Newfoundland and Labrador Youth Parliament
July 20, 2008 - 12:16 AM

The NLYP is a non-profit, youth run organization for Newfoundland and Labradorians aged 16-23. We meet once a year at the House of Commons for a long weekend to run our own sessions of parliament. The great thing about our sessions is, aside from the cabinet and critics, the rest are non-partisan. That means that you don't have to belong to a party and you can speak your mind freely on the issues that interest you. You can debate on bills, write your own, and meet like minded individuals from across the province.

For more information please check out www.nlyp.ca or email vpexternal@nlyp.ca !
