UNICEF- Erasing Borders in Cyberspace
July 11, 2008 - 03:17 PM

Sponsored by UNICEF Hellosomaliyouth.net is the only resource of its kind
available for young people in Somalia. The youth-owned, youth-managed
website is a platform for Somali young people to discuss issues that
concern them and affect their everyday lives. The Hellosomaliyouth.net
homepage features a listing of youth groups, radio stations, grants, a
discussion forum and a photogallery, as well as links to news articles on
youth development and participation from three zones: Puntland,
Somaliland, and Central and Southern Somalia. Find out more at
http://www.unicef.org/voy/explore/media/4188.htm#story3.

I think that is a very good idea. A similar project is Rural Voices of Youth (also related to UNICEF).

It is possible to read about it at www.unicef.org/voy , too.
