The correlation between Identity & Traditions !!!

well , i was once thinking about how far the relation between the traditions of a certain country related to forming it's identity , does they really have any kind of relationship by any means ? or each one of them is independent ? when we come to define the word " Identity " does we put in consideration the aspects of traditions ? , what about if we define the word " Tradition "
if any of you have an idea about this issue , please don't hesitate to inform and share it with us ...

I think we can define ourselves through our traditions. That's why many immigrants keep their customs - because they want to keep their identity (I'm thinking of the Muslim communities in Europe, of the Chinese ones in the USA..). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
