Hey guys, I am working on a new version of the discussion forums. What do you think of the current board and are they any changes you think we should have in the new version?

Hello,
Personally I am quite pleased with the boards as in the technical solution. However, my main concern is: Will the posts from the current system be transferred to the new system, or is there a risk that there will be a re-start?

No... unless a forum is deleted, all the current posts will be retained as they are now...

How about an updated look? One that fits the TIG general feel, but something different. Just a passing thought.

yeh an updated look would be pretty good like a different colour scheme or maybe just a different shape or just something like that.

Can you give examples of how you want it to look? The forums right now are basically just templates from the forum system that we have installed... do things need to be more rounded or...? Any specific examples would really help!
