MUGABE AND ZIMBABWE
July 1, 2008 - 03:29 PM

|
Some times i feel like keeping quite on certain issues but my conscience would never let me be quite.
Mugabe, a failure with prove, when it comes to governance is still heading for the 5*7th time in Government.
A man i know ,that made Zimbabwe to be the poorest country in the world has no credibility to lead Zimbabwe again.
He has made the Zimbabwe dollar to be as far low as a trash when compared to( USD) United states Dollar .
He has made the economy of Zimbabwe to fall to the ground. And has no plans of bringing it up.
Not only that he made their currency to be valueless ,he also went ahead to starve his people.
Tell me what does he take him self for,
a) Tyrant, b) Dictator, c) Enemy of Progress, d) All of the above.

In all what you said you have failed to mention the effect on our economy of the sanctions imposed on us by the West.
Call him what you may but that does not take away the fact that close to two million Zimbabweans voted for him in the last election.
Those in the house of glass dont throw stones at others!

Dkaiyo,
with out me asking whom you are ,i already know you.
You are 1 of those benefiting selfishly from Robert Mugabe, and that had blind fold you .You sold your conciense to Mugabe forgetting the fact that you will some day reap what you have sowed.
You mentioned the sanctions from the west. Have you ever ask your self what had led to that?.
Am not from the west but i know barely every story about the sanction.
If mugabe has his people at heart ,i mean all his people ,he would not have done what led to the sanctions from the west.
No matter the circumstance.
For over 2 million Zimbabweans that you said voted for him ,2 million is a figure that can be manipulated so, thats no excuse for his victory. For i know every body knows what suffering ,starving means and no body would ever wanna find him/her self in such conditions.
I mean every body wanna live a better life and no 1 has ever been given award for being wretched or even boast of being poor. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

r. -
Sanctions came as a result of a bilateral dispute between Zimbabwe and Britain. They came because we decided to take back our LAND from the white minority kith and kin of the British. Its not about the human rights democracy etc but about the LAND, period!
Your contribution shows your lack of understanding of the underlying realities of our situation!
I suggest you stop regagitating everything you hear in the weapons of mass deception of the west (media) i see that how you are basing your arguments.
About my identity one thing that i have never tried to hide or deny is my support for his excellency RG Mugabe!(see my other posts) and i dont apologise for it!
I support his principle of us being the masters of our own destiny and controllers of our own resources! And the west cant stomach it.I got a farm my friend and im doing well i applied like everyone and i dont regret making that application!
I thinnk the people on Nigeria need your own "Mugabe".The people of the Delta are fighting a just cause. You need to control and benifit from the oil in your country.
Your oil reserves are currently being controlled by foreigners and you recently gave farming lands to the whites from zimbabwe does this mean that there were nigerians who are not capable of doing farming? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You may call it what ever you want "mass deception" what so ever. But the fact still remain that Robert Mugabe has not being fair to Zimbabweans .I could remember when Morgan Tsvangirai visited Nigeria .When he felt he won the elections he gave a low down on how his is going to make Zimbabwe great.
And For the militants in Our Niger Delta Region ,its case is ours, not the Foreign oil companies. I keep on saying that they got every right to defend them selves and request for what is theres . And they have 100% of the youths in Nigeria behind them.
Until there demand is met before they will stop militancy in Niger Delta.
We are not against the foreigners but against our governments ok.
If left for us i dont think Nigeria could be able to manage the oil as much as the foriegners.
I know there are lots of damages been done in the region but those damages are being paid for ,and the payment is made to our government ,who never regard them "Niger delta" as anything .So they got every right to stop oil production in the region so that they are compensated by the companies involved ,directly not thru our goverment.
Dkaiyo, With sincerity ,would you want Mugabe to continue put you people in disarray ,starvation and cause enemity between you and the world.
I believe 1 thing a good leader must have at the back of his heart is the people he governs.
1 more thing ,You dont have to be happy because you've got food on your table while your brother is dying of hunger. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for the farm lands given to the whites from Zimbabwe in Nigeria,We've got vast lands that we are not using for now.So i see no reason why you see somebody interested in utilizing the land for the benefit of the world and you refuse the person from using it.I dont think it makes any sense at all.
I suggest you should think about it very well.
I Still maintain that Mugabe has done his best as you feel ,he should give way for another person ,So that there will be a difference.
Always Believe in change, its a Natural phenomenon ok ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My broda dont mind Dkaiyo, He is just too selfish as Mugabe is. If you are a leader and did not perform up to 60% of what the majority of the people you are governing expected then you must be a failure. And that simply means you have to give way for another person to try .
MUGABE IS A SELFISH AND IGNORANT MAN, HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO EVEN GOVERN OR LEAD A LOCAL GOVERNMENT" PROVINCE" NOT TO TALK OF A WHOLE COUNTRY. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not going to pretend that I understand the intricacies of politics in Zimbabwe. Or even that I believe Tsvangirai would make a better President than Mugabe. Only God knows the answer to that latter one. However, I will point out that Mugabe has been in power for too long. And that is wrong.
Leaders need to learn how to rule for one term or a maximum of two terms and then retire. One man holding on to power for generations implies that he's the only one with the ability and the brainpower to do the job. I'm sure there are hundreds upon thousands of Zimbabweans who can do a fine job in leadership if given the chance. Mugabe is an old man. He's not in the prime of his life. His ideas may have worked when he first came into power, but with the passage of time, things have changed. Does it not make sense to bring new blood into the leadership positions?
If one man holds on to power, it almost always means that one set of ethnic groups or one set of clans reigns supreme over all others. Doing that for generations creates precisely those inequalities that are crippling many nations today.
Tanzania, whatever other problems she may have, has a preferable model for the transfer of leadership from generation to generation, and between members of different ethnic groups and religions. Zimbabweans, Kenyans and others would do well to watch and learn.
(N.B. I am not Tanzanian.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dkaiyo,
I believe you must have heard that G8 is planing to impose another sanction on you guys again.
And you know what effects it has on the economy of your government.
So keep supporting Mugabe and Dont stop.I pray he remains in power for as long as it would start to affect you personally so that you will understand what i've been saying.
Secondly, zanu pf militias are at it again ,they have introduce OPPOSE MUGABE AND GET KILLED system into the Government.
Remember if their is a counter attack by the opposition ,then it would be WAR and you will not cultivate on that FARM land you applied for.
MAN YOU NEED TO GROW UP OK .

.
The sanctions have been affecting me personally since they were declared about six to seven years ago.
It was not Mugabe who had to sleep in a queue for fuel-i did!
It is not him who has stuck with currency with more zeros than value-i do!
The sanctions only affect the ordinary people and they are no good. Im glad you seem to know the impact they have on the economy NOT Mugabe!
The issue of sanctions does not suprise me as one US secretary once said "we want to make the economy scream" and the will cause an uprising against the Zanu PF government! This has been failing so the imperialists are not resting.
This is a war against imperialism and they know if we are to defeat them Zimbabwe would have set "bad example" that an african can actually tell the West "to go and hang"
I will keep on supporting Mugabe no matter what comes for he stands for true Pan Africanism and he is leading a WAR against NEOCOLONIALISM
Aluta Continua Comrades! We shall Overcome!

Votes were rigged. -
The vote rigging gospel again!
I remember before the March 29 elections the allegations of vote rigging were thrown at Cde Mugabe but the results actually shows the opposition winning!
So it makes me wonder in whose favour were the votes rigged?

Dkaiyo, I see no sense in what you said about the opposition. With out you people,i mean Zimbabweans ,announcing the 1st election result we already know that Morgan would win. Because we in Nigeria know that Robert Mugabe is a failure ,when it comes to governance so ,If you say there was rigging in the first election that pronounced Morgan a winner for having winning most of the votes in the different provinces in Zimbabwe. So you see, Mugabe would not in any way win any body that contest with him ,be it Morgan or even you Dkaiyo.
