I noticed on some TIG members' profiles that they have a little blue flag like thing on their profile that says "Virtual Volunteer" beside it - how can I be a virtual volunteer on TIG?

Hello Virtual volunteers are online volunteers that are dedicated and have commited their tasks to participate in the activities of other communities world wide online.
For instance you can go on www.onlinevolunteering.org and search for a number of volunteer assignments that you think you can participate.
Regards
Kebby

hina18,
danjay1 is actually a little more precise in that the flag refers only to TIG Virtual Volunteers, rather than the resources posted by the other TIG member. If you're interested in a particular part of the site, email the address and you *should* receive a reply. Most of these are like panorama@takingitglobal.org, globalgallery@takingitglobal.org etc.
If you don't get a reply, email memberservices@takingitglobal.org and they will forward your name on to the right person.
Make sure to include your TIG username as well as what types of things you are interested in helping out with, in what sections of the site.
ie. I would like to help out with French translations, or assist with approving artwork for the global gallery.
Hope that helps!
Hugh
