How to change the world?

If you would have enough money or might to make a really big change in the world, what would you do? Where do you see crucial points, which could be influenced or forced towards a change?
I am convinced, that violence cant be an appropriate way to make changes towards a better world but I ask this question because I am working at some story-project, therefore I would also like to hear "destructive" ideas if you know what I mean ;-) for example: is there really one center, where all financial data is kept, which could be destroyed to "restart" our monetary system?
I am looking forward to hear your ideas! Please dont let your fantasy be restricted ;-)

Well nice question, but i think one cannot change the world with might and money...coz many people used to have these but they couldnt change anything.
War, destruction, violance, bloodshed.. these are inside human mentality. we cannot change it..unless we could have a single government for the whole world which is not possible.
i would slightly change your question to a better one " How to save the world?" We know the facts which are ruining our world but no one cares for resolving these facts.
In my Opinion world cannot be changed according to our demands...we must change according to the nature of the world.

I think we have to start by changing our self and develop our compassion and kindness to our fellow human,
I think only a change in our mind will change the world for a better place to live.
There is a lot of money in the world but not a lot of pure mind...

let me put it into a more precise way: i am looking for weak spots in this system, which is destroying our world (in a social and ecological meaning).
another example (just brainstorming) maybe one or two of the biggest car-firms could be forced to start producing "clean" engines based on new technology. because these engines allready exist but some people who want to make more money (with oil etc.) prevent them from being the new standard.

The future depends on the youth. Also any possibility of change in social behaviour in the world is depends on them surprisingly many governments and non government organization devepment program are subjective, manipulative and passively involve youth in social-economic development. This preoccupying social-economic problem jeopardizes our countries development. This is the reason why our governments, our partners in development, organizations institutions, and social activists of our counties must work towards overcoming this common challenge. This problem is so serious that it threatens more and more the future of world

A wise man, Montaigne said once, "Rather choose my desires and aspirations carefully than to change the world."
It is YOU who has to change, not the world. REMEMBER that and stop wailing about how unjust this world is. It isn't. It is very just, a juster-than-ever world, which I hate to see changing.

we need to get rid of nuclear weapons. they solve nothing. sure, they helped America win against Japan, but they killed far too many innocent people, helped ruin our reputation, and pose a danger to everyone. our country is constantly scared that nukes will get into the wrong hands. other countries are scared that we'll stupidly use them again. even if we make the argument that we need them to deter other countries from using theirs, we can at least dismantle some as an act of good faith and hope that other nations follow suit. we don't need any of them, and we definatly don't need the huge numbers we possess.

How to change the world ??? Hmm we have to work for the future right here right now ....here's a brilliant example ...
STORY: Argentine football coach Daniel Passarella held on Sunday (July 6) a
training session for some 60 Israeli and Palestinian children at the 'Football
Village of Hope' in Israel, in a bid to strengthen tolerance, coexistence and
peace through sport.
The week-long soccer peace camp, which broug..........................
Milo Corcoran, former president of the Football Association of Ireland,
and Ophir Zardok, the Israeli General Manager of the Irish Football League
champions Drogheda United Football Club, came up with the idea to bring
children from the conflict-torn Middle East to play together for peace.
Zardok said that in Ireland soccer proved to build bridges between
conflict regions, and he hoped this could also happen in the Middle East.
.........................
The children, boys and girls from the ages of six to 12, were
introduced to professional soccer staff from the Football Association of
Ireland.
Former Argentine soccer player and manager of the Argentine and
Uruguayan national teams, Daniel Passarella, known in Spanish as 'el Gran
Capitan' (the great captain) for his leadership and passion for the game, held
several training sessions for the young athletes.
...............
Passarella resigned last year as coach of River Plate, one of
Argentina's biggest clubs.
In addition to joint training on the pitch, the children of the sports
peace camp attend coexistence workshops and art seminars.
"I like this forum, and we are friends with the Israelis and we do
not want war, we have to stay friends," said Baha Abu Ghazala, from the
occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
"We will play soccer together with Arabs and during the whole week
we will hold training with them, we will practice together and will go with
them to all kinds of places. We are staying in the same rooms with them,"
said Israeli youth player Amit Biton, from the southern Israeli town of Kiryat
Gat.
........ In 2007, Irish Aid provided 7.5 million euros...................
Irish organisers of the event hope that sport can unite children in
conflict regions and mediate differences in nationality and culture and bridge
physical obstacles.

I believe that to change the world we must first change ourselves and our perceptions of the planet, those around us and our lives. If we can have a more positive and constructive veiw of the world who knows what this can lead to. If we believe that we can achieve things I believe that this can alter the success of what it is that we wish to change. Changes on a world scale do not occur automatically. They take time and a great deal of determination, but if we are determined to follow our beliefs and ideas then we might just be able to change the world together.
