Erasing Misconceptions

As most of you know, many people have misconceptions about what life is really like in countries such as Nigeria, Iran, or Ecuador. The project I'm working on will (hopefully) work to enlighten individuals.
The project, Lifelines, is for Americans for UNFPA (the United Nations Population Fund). Lifelines is a website that allows women from all over the world to post an informational profile. The website highlights information about birth conditions, school systems, marriage customs, and family values. The idea is that women could learn about other cultures from real women who live in those places.
Please join if you have any interest in learning about and supporting women across countries. Also, we specifically need more international women to post profiles.
Right now, there are very few profiles from countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. If you were born in one of those places (or live there now), I would really appreciate it if you could complete a profile about your experiences. (Go to www.americansforunfpa.org/lifelines and click Become a Member). Also, if you have any ideas about a good way to contact women internationally, please share your thoughts.
Thanks!

Hello, I want to disabuse and disagree with you mentioning my country Nigeria to fail prey of Misconceive, we are working strongly here to tangling the issue militating womanhood, so I should advise you to the omit Nigeria in your list of Misconception.
We have had series of project on Early Childhood Development, Female Genital mutilation, Child Right To Education, just to mention but a few are the implemented awareness programmes in my country Nigeria. For more details visit www.gdrc.org/icm/country/nigeria-women
