When we think Globally, nothing stops us from acting locally. We have that dream to inspire, inform and involve other youths in our communities. They will only get involved when we act locally, then we network Globally to achieve thier dreams.Cheers!!!!

YES WE NEED TO TAKE IT LOCAL
March 5, 2004 - 10:56 AM

Yes we need to take IT local becouse it will go along way to help our youth who are not oppotune to travel to other part of the city.

I was supprise when i visited my village to discover that there dont know what is IT.you will agree with me that this IT of a thing is only known in the cities and not known in the villagies. so let's take IT local.

Thanks and God bless

Yours in service

I'm all for taking IT local,
getting more people involved is what is needded, but like many things this is a idea - how are we going to put this into practice - that's the question i think we need to deal with.

Not Only Projects
April 4, 2004 - 07:54 AM

Nothing can be taken global before taking locally, its not only factual for online/action projects and programmes
but even same with issues as world peace.

We need to unearth peace locally(peace within
our hearts and minds) before taking it to the world.

Taking ITlocal

its a wonderful option for us to reach out to those marginalised groups of young men and women. Some do not have access to internet and computers. The only platform to take the message of youths empowerment to them is when we Take IT Local and also an open forum where EVERY VOICE COUNTS.

The ongoing development of TakingITGlobal's new Country Sites and Multilingual Platform is definitely a great start to TakingITLocal and take positive action locally!
