hi eevryone,
what do u think is the role of young ppl in sustainable development?
Simple definition of sustainable development: meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their needs.
u could limit ur answer (since sustainable development is a broad term) to the eight millenium goals.
thanx.

Youth is an opportunity.

I believe that the youth of today are an opportunity and have an opportunity to use sustainable development to help preserve the world. Action is what you make of it. With help, plans can become action and the our generatio can be the on inflicting it. But, it is up to us to decide how we want to effect our futures and the world that will be here long after we are. We can either be remembered as the generation who tried to make a positive difference or those who messed up. Boundaries are not currently present with our youth, because we happen to have more freedom now than ever before. Of course, I cannot speak for all teens, because I do not know how much is achievable depending on where you live. I do know that we can all make a splash, no matter how big, that will help, better or worse.
