Good morning Brothers and sisters,
Are we really free? we experienced American revolution, French war of independence, Russian Revolution, Indian revolution and many other revolution which occurred on the Earth. every moment and every time we cried for freedom and independence and Liberty. But we are still now depressed class. oppressed under globalisation and cultural colonialism. It is one issue there are other issues which hampered our human progress. Lets discuss about on that and eliminate it

We are a far way from true freedom. Yes in places like Canada, there is freedom, but there will always be laws and regulations to keep oder in society. You do have freedom of speech. But on the other hand if someone makes a speech about murder and supports and gives there opinon, they could most likly be taken to jail. In places like the US, if you say something against the BUSh you can be sent to jail, all because you siad ur opinon, and yet there is supposed to be freedom of speech, and freedom to be who you are. So truly do we live in a free society? My answer to that is NO.

I personally believe that freedom is self determined. True, in the world in which we live, we come under oppression from all sorts of things but above all that is the concept of personal freedom, one that comes from within...one that no one, tyrant or no tyrant can ever take from you...yes, sentimentality is not a bad thing...

A lot of Westerners take there freedom forgranted. Those who believe we are not truly free, because of certain laws to ensure societal order, have never been to a nation that is not free. There are individuals around this world who would die, literally, for the freedom we have in North America. We are a free people, and we should celebrate it.

I don't think it would be easy to really get total freedom as long as there is always a constant battle between the forces of evil and good. The different ideological sect conflicts with one another
while the evil forces prevent freedom in whatever form, be it freedom of information, worship(religion), association,speech,etc. Because it thrives under such circumstances.
The good forces would always call for freedom from oppression in what ever form..
I do not think we are really free as long as these two forces are always in conflict with each other.
In most cases the evil forces always have the upper hand.
But i do believe that evil thrives when good people stand back and do nothing.
we can try to have a better world but our freedom would always be restricted under one guise or the other.

I believe there is way that we’re completely free, somehow we’re slavers. This self-slavery comes in different forms for the human life cycle.

hmmm... I actually believe that we are more free than we were in the past... but still... there are places in the world that have dictators.. .and people there cannot form their own thoughts and ideas and cannot speak freely about what troubles them or cannot express their opinions about their governments....
