Many consumers had become an attention on the researcher for global warming, consumers have a their ways to avoid global warming from spreading in the future, if you have any commons on this, please feel free and try to give me your thoughts, thanks.

Where I come from in Vanuatu is a country in the Pacific and alot of changes can easily be seen through storms we get back here....
Changes in the sea water level is another biggest one compare to the last 5 years........
I don't know what will happen in the near future...Our own lands, people, historical sites, properties might all be gone.....we might even all be gone and have no place to stay, no place to put our future generations? No place to set aside for developments......
Its really scary when in its actual raining session.....Thunder, rain and Lightnings have become the scariest natural things people in my community are scared of now.....
It never like this in the past...I can remember when I'm small, i run around not being scared of all these stuff but this has changes...Even older people are scared........
We really need everyones help to start acting positively towards our environmental practices which can then lead to decrease the chances of changes that are happening with our climate.
Very Concern citizen here sad

This is a very important thing, if the world is dying and we doesn't do anything, for sure the world will die soon. We are just like the bystanders here, the big bully named global warming is harming our little victim: the earth, shouldn't we help out? The world cannot do as much as we all could.

weather has nothing to do with climate change. Climate change is long term and is not indicated in a series of bad storms.

you say you cant ever remember weather bing this bad...i hate to break it to you, but, 32 years on this earth is nothing compared to the long term. your life is not even a blip on the earths radar compared to how old the earth is.

really? are you sure? in the eighties the world was screaming a new ice age. In the nineties it was global warming. Prince charles just said we have 18 months at best. Back in 1993 scientist said we had 2 years at best.

if the planet is going to die, i wish it would do it already. personally i blame the sun.

Well, the sun is not the only problem here, technology has increased over the few years, more and more pollution had increased because of it, this is how we created global warming.

Do you remember how Canada was covered in ice before in these old days, right? With newer technologies, those ice were gone and Canada wasn't covered in the ice anymore. Global warming had happening when the days we were born, but it has gotten way worser in these days because of us, we should really try to help!

thks for tackling this issue, well just notice this cotation " the suffeciency in this world is for the man need, but not for man's greed"; and the more we are consuming the more we are polluting...!!

Very clearly the climate is changing and it is changing because of the increasing level of CO2 in the atmosphere. Almost all climate scientists agree on this. I trust their judgement, not Intageous's.

My actions:

1) I ride my bicycle or walk as much as I can, usually 4 out of 5 workdays. When I drive my car, I drive as economically as possible.
2) I try to eat as little meat as possible.
3) I try to reduce my use of hot water as much as possible by briefly showering every third or fourth day.
4) All the lightbulbs in the house are now energy-saving bulbs.

The world is changing rapidly in a short period of time. The polar ice sheets are receding, deserts are expanding, islands are "sinking," glaciers all over the world are disappearing. I choose not to stick my head in the sand, but to alter my lifestyle.

Something basic that you all might want to reference as you discuss the ice age and whatnot, is the fact that to end the ice age, the entire Earth warmed an average of 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Even the most optimistic of scientists are currently citing a 6 degree increase in temperature should be continue on our carbon based growth pattern.

Can you imagine the difference that would cause?

I keep hearing the words will die. When? are we talking 4 hours? 7 weeks? 36 months, 19 years?

everyone seems so willing to change a rearrange other peoples lives and yet there isnt even a timetable as when thsi could happen.

if man has created global warming, then the world will die anyway. We are carbon based in case you forgot

which technology melted canada? I hate to break it to you, but the ice in canada was long gone before the industrial revolution came to pass.

Actually though, if you are concerned about your role in the climate change hoax, maybe you should turn your computer off. Its gives off a lot of carbon.

I've been trying to:
1. walk or ride bicycle or use public transportation as much as possible
2. Eat all the food I put into my plate
3. Not to throw away clothes or stuffs I don't need anymore but give them to those who are in need
.........etc.

What else can I do?

We, the good persons, trying to save energy for example as much as we can but those, bad people, are still wasting and polluting the environment. Who can deal with the unfairness like that?

scientific evidence
September 24, 2008 - 04:48 PM

There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate.
