UDHR is fine, its the morons running the UN and trying to pervert the UDHR thats whats wrong.

That's almost comical.
Muhammed Naceri, a member of the Morocco Council of Religious Scholars has said:
“The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was for complete equality for man and women. For us, women are equal to men in law, but they are not the same as men, and they can’t be allowed to wander around freely in the streets like some kind of animal”.
Do you see any Canadians making statements like that? To the UN?

LOL that statement is the wisest thing anyone has said in a long time.
AM sure he has a slight different meaning, but his choice of words is impecible !!
Let's see, man and woman are equal, but they are not the same !!! makes perfect sense to me.
NO western countries send women in to combat, why? because if they get caught, they will get raped.
In islamic world they dont allow women to go around in bikinis etc, for the same reason.
its everywhere, dont finger point

It will be if the OIC get's it way.
Which backyard would you be referring to?

Wow.. The village called they want their idiot back.
I can't - no I actually I can believe you just said that.
You actually are trying to justify the RAPE of women for wearing a bikini?
How you can even equate a front line soldier and bikini's to rape, is clearly the thought process of someone who belongs in the 7th century.
Everywhere Islam is, I see repression, poverty, exploitation, rape and death.
Clean up season has begun.

wow, you built all that hatred up over 39 years?!
amazing !!
Lets see the western world has a divorce rate 6x highter than anywhere else, girls go to nightclubs and get raped, they get drunk, used drugs and they turn to prostitution.
I am certainly not defending islamic ideals at all, but i can see their point of view.
So fix your Canadian backyard first, i am sure there are homeless girls getting raped every night.

Listen to the Islamic propaganda flow from you. Do you actually have any unbiased sources? Do you have any comparison statistics so we can actually compare apples to apples or in this case backyards to backyards.
Women who are raped can face legal difficulties anywhere in the world. And nowhere is that more true than in the Muslim world, where a few countries — including Saudi Arabia, Iran and Sudan — still incarcerate or execute raped women.
Women convicted under these laws that are not sent to prison might be stoned or whipped. This is what happens when the pure orthodox form of the so-called “religion of peace” is implemented in a nation. As I have said before, Islam is a cult. The most orthodox or conservative forms of Christianity or Judaism could never muster this level of barbarism! Look throughout time and you’d be hard pressed to find a case where Christian or Jewish doctrine was incorporated into law and a woman was convicted for trying to convict a rapist.
Some who claim adherence to the so-called “religion of peace” are going one step further. They are actually raping women and boasting about their deeds. Because they say Islam gives them the freedom to rape.
A Muslim rape epidemic in sweeping over Europe
…
The direct connection between the rapes and Islam is irrefutable, as Muslims are significantly overrepresented among convicted rapists and rape suspects. The Muslim perpetrators themselves boast that their crime is justified since their victims were, among other things, not properly veiled.
Wasn't there just recently a rape spree in Australia? A Muslim man raping 14 yr old girls?
As for the rest of your drivel - well its just that.
Your contempt for free inquiry is encapsulated in the statement of Muhammad, “Al-elmo noghtatan katharoho al-jaheloon”—Knowledge is only one dot, expanded by the ignorant.
Please come back when you have something to offer.

Btw, we are moving away from what this topic is about , feel free to start a new thread and i debate it away with you.
Ignorance can only b eliminated with knowledge
PS. My contempt for free inquiry??
http://discuss.tigweb.org/thread/35469
this is a country which has signed UDHR, ICERD, ICCPR, etc...ALL of them.
thats the sort of backyard kangaroocourts that needs urgent attention rather than wishy washy trying to change 2000 years of islamic traditions. they have to do that themselves

"sure, why not"
That's it? That's your best?
"Mutilation of boys by the jewish faith."
Are you making some reference to circumcision or khitan - and then somehow trying to justify rape?
What rock did you climb out from under?
"when you slander someone at least back it up with source."
I haven't even begun to do that.
"To think ALL grown muslim would be that irresponsible is ignorant and to think that no western men rape girls is moronic"
I've got good reason to believe that. Look at you for example. I mean really..anyone who can even remotely trys justify what you are - clearly falls under the moronic label.

It's all intertwined,
What topic would you like to cover? You have rape pretty down pat, it seems.
"this is a country which has signed UDHR, ICERD, ICCPR, etc...ALL of them."
Which country are you talking about?
"thats the sort of backyard kangaroocourts that needs urgent attention rather than wishy washy trying to change 2000 years of islamic traditions. they have to do that themselves"
Are you saying rape is ok because its a 2000 yr old "tradition"

rape is rape it occurs everywhere, most places girls dont talk about it due to stigma.
in islamic countries, it probably wise to keep quiet or move countries, sometimes it not possible, it s a fact of life. It happens in western countries too. Rape and date rape are a major problem here in Australia regardless of ethnicity.
Some girls press charges and some dont. when u live in a country, follow their laws, dont flaunt your bikinis in countries that dont allow it.
PS. you are like a bulldog, when u get ya teeth into something you lose sight of everything else. why is it right for Jewish faith to mutilate boys?

"what am i trying to justify??"
Seemed to me rape?
"what i am saying is i have no power to change laws where i dont live. but i have the power to change laws where i live."
Then why even bother with the UN?
The Human Rights Council at the United Nations has now banned any criticism regarding Sharia Law and human rights in the Islamic World. How very nice.
How would I know what faith you followed?
Am I the Amazing Kreskin?
"SO you have now slandered me as well"
How have I slanderd you?
I feel Islam is an evil violent religion.
It oppreses women.
It has always been violent.
It attempts to control people's choices.
Recently, it has supported the burying alive of 5 women for wanting to choose for themselves whom they will marry.
Before that, Islam supported the descision to stone a woman to death who was raped.
I could list 1000 such things here, but, is it necessary?
Please don't respond with "every religion has produced violence, etc. etc." My oppinion is in the context of now here and now - not the dark ages. I don't know any Catholics burying their women alive, decapitating people, or stoning women to death.
