Anu, I think I am very much discussing the topic of the thread:
Problems God Can't Solve.
Most of the posts in this thread argue that God is omnipotent and all knowing and can intervene in human affairs.
I asserted that since there is no God, there is no problem "he" can solve.
I was told by Whateverman that I had to assume God existed in order to participate in this thread.
So I assumed the predominant Judeo-Christian God because that was the God most people in the thread argued existed.
Whateverman then insisted his version of a non-entity God that couldn't/wouldn't intervene in human affairs "might exist."
I have been challenging him to explain why he believes in such a non-entity God.
His defensiveness reveals that I may have gone too far in disturbing his comfort zone.
I value the opportunity to exchange ideas that TIG offers people from many different regions and cultures. I do hope in the future that some threads will not be limited to just religious people. I think that is a violation of the TIG guidelines.

My post was not directed towards anyone personally.
I was merely pointing out the nature of the texts which had gone down from objective analysis and questioning to personal confrontation.

When I had learned the translation of holly Quran in 1990s, what I had used to ask myself was, where do they live such like these people deny the existence of Allah and his power that appear everywhere of the world? Quran exposes the aloneness of Allah, when and how he created this world and sky and when he will destroy based on time he allocated the existence of everything. How he created one soul than then its mates and than spread both of them multitude people. In generally, Allah portrayed in his holly Koran, the history of those rejected the aloneness of Allah and what had happened them, the current time from the day revealed up to know, events and actions and statement say people disbelieve the Allah’s aloneness and power are also in Quran and also tells us how the world will be end and the afterworld what kind of actions will be met.
Allaah can solve every problem; did you know when you will die? Where you will die? How you will die? No body knows except Allah, but just knows we’ll die some time. We have a soul Allaah put on our bodies. Simply example is look vehicle; vehicle has a lifetime, need fuel, water, oil etc and if it gets empty fuel it will stop. Human being made this Vehicle. What about who created us, do you think that you have made without purpose? Do you think you get old and then die without purpose? Let alone the solution of any kind of problems. Allah enables everything on this world to solve and do whatever he wants to do. Without permission anyone of the world.

God can solve everything! We just have to wait in His time! He knows what is best for us and he cares for us the most that he cannot refuse anything we ask of Him!

i believe there are problems that man inflicts on himself. number 1, GLOBAL WARMING. man seems to think that he can control/manipulate climate and it's obviously backfiring.

He can do all things thats why He is God and He does what He pleases thats His soverenity as God.

I just one to point out the concept of God giving humankind FREE WILL. If God solved our problems he would be taking away free will. So its not that God can't solve problems, but that he doesn't as a gift to us. How else will we learn. If we don't solve the problems of the world on our own, then we will just mess it up again. God is omnipotent, but in a caring way. Thats why we can't blame him for things like kids with cancer.

I get what you mean - there is only so much you can say is "God's will". people need to start taking responsibility 4 their actions as opposed to saying God will solve all the problems. We need to take action 1st and look 4 a way forward because God don't create problem's -people do.

Problems brought by people, they came this world with clear mind, clear heart and clear soul. After they achieve fictional satisfaction, they distort everything and test what they do on their hands, just they begin to shift causes in a wrong direction. That is the weaknesses of every humanbeing claims to be very smarts and satisfactions.

well yes, God can solve all problems.
but if u expect him to do so while u sit there passive and not do anything at all..well it doesn't work this way.
often times God will help u solve it, but he would like you to first do something about it, anything!
for example, lets say ur crossing the street, and you see a car coming ur way. if u stop there looking at the car and saying, oh god please help me (while it is still a bit far away) chances r, u will get hit. but if in the same situation u see the car coming and u at least attempt to run to avoid it, chances are u'd be safe.
now should the scenario be that a car is speeding and ur just walking on the pavement, and then it skids and it all happens in a split second, yes chances r god will help u and let it not hit u. (unless there is a lesson behind it hitting u)...
so u see, God solves it all but would like us to at least do something about it. he gave us free will..we might as well use it
