I am in middle school, and I won't lie about my age. Being a teen allows me to have just as much responsibility as the next person, if not more. The older members of TIG have commented on the "maturity" as not_neo put it, of the fellow members. Age isn't a limit, but perception is. Someone can be 35 years old and be extremely immature, while a 7 year old could act beyond their years. My warning is that you have to be careful how you trear someone simply because of a number.
Try this on for size; Imagine a world where no one kept trck of age. Therem, you would notice a physical and mental difference, but that would be all. There, you could judge others based on the abilities and talents they provide you to view. Would that not be a better world?
To make my point precisely, stop acting like you know more or are more capable of doing something than someone near you who may have a "gap" in age.

I didn't mean to offend anyone who chatted in the general discussion under the online engagement section, specifically not_neo, whom I used as an example. I am just making you aware of my intentions.

Ooh, a world where nobody kept track of age... that's a really interesting idea. Would that also apply to school? As in people would work at their own pace so a 13-year-old could be at the same level as an 18-year-old... but that's irrelevant.
Then there wouldn't be a 'voting age' so the criteria to be allowed to vote would have to be different... based on how much you actually know about politics, like basic knowledge of people in the various parties and what they stand for. Something like that.
