Arslan - these are the people you think the Israelis should trust -
you think it is unrealistic for me to expect them to stop the incitement against Jews - for them to stop teaching their children to hate Jews and want to kill them.
I am not sure how you think Peace is possible WITHOUT an end to such incitement and hatred -

"Palestinian Media Watch located and translated the contents of the footage, which it uploaded to YouTube under the headline "Hamas: Jews planned Holocaust."
According to the documentary's narrator, Israel's first prime minister David Ben Gurion decided that Jewish "disabled and handicapped are a burden to the state," after which "the Satanic Jews" - the film cuts to a picture of a hassidic Jew - "thought up an evil plot to be rid of the burden of disabled and handicapped" - the film then cuts to piles of emaciated corpses - "in twisted criminal ways."
"This is official Hamas TV," explained PMW director Itamar Marcus. "It's owned and totally controlled by the Hamas leadership in Gaza, and it goes out by satellite to the whole Arab-speaking world."

The program dealt primarily with the Holocaust, but included comparisons to the Palestinian situation, calling the massacres in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps a "holocaust" and blaming Israel for a "Palestinian holocaust."
"They [the Jews] were the first to invent the methods of evil and oppression," explains the documentary's narrator, cutting to scenes of Golda Meir, Moshe Dayan and Ben Gurion.
The film claimed Jewish leaders blamed the Nazis for their own massacre of Jews "so the Jews would seem persecuted and try to benefit from international sympathy."
The film offers an "expert" - Amin Dabur, head of the "Center for Strategic Research" - who explains that "the Israeli Holocaust, the whole thing was a joke and part of the perfect show that Ben Gurion put on."
There is some tension in the film between blaming the Jews for the massacre of Jews, and denying the massacre took place. According to Dabur, Ben Gurion was interested in sending "strong and energetic youth [for Israel], while all the rest - the disabled, the handicapped, and people with special needs, they were sent [to die] - if it can be proven historically" - a reference to a claim heard often on Hamas television, from Iranian leaders and elsewhere in the Muslim world that the Holocaust has yet to be proven historically.
Continues Dabur: "They were sent [by the Jews to die] so there would be a Holocaust, so Israel could 'play' it for world sympathy."

I am really shocked. I don't know what to say. I hope other Palestinians will reject this malicious propaganda.
But Luke, my point is not that you should trust Hamas. I am not that naive to expect that. The distrust between Hamas and Israel will not end in any forseeable future.
My point is a call for pragmatism and realism. Concessions should be made by both sides. My personal view is that Palestinians should agree to a peace based on Israeli pre-1967 borders and Israelis should not only stop the expansion but also dismantle the occupation.
But I am an outsider. I hope Palestinians and Israelis can come to such or a similar agreement.

The deal you outlined is basically the deal that was on the table at Camp David.
I think it is basically what they are talking about now -
but any deal is going to have to include security garuntees and HAS to include an effort to end incitement - on both sides of the boarder.
I was just in Israel - I can tell you there is nothing remotely like that on Israeli television -
but regardless both sides HAVE to commit to ending the incitement - else it will only be an illusion of peace - you cannot have REAL peace when children are being taught that people on the other side of the boarder are Satan.
Camp David had provisions to deal with incitement and any new agreement should also have these provisions.

WOW! This is shocking...It really isn't though. The Hamas will do anything to end the state of Israel. The Arab nations surrounding the Hebrew state have been trying for 60 years now. The fact of the matter is, they are not going anywhere. Anyone who knows history knows that it was the Nazi party that brought on the Holocaust. This is silly! It's sad that the Hamas can't just take care of Lebanon (they do a good job of that), and just leave the Jews alone. I think they've all forgotten what they are fighting for. It's no longer religion. That is for sure!

Hamas is a brave and courageous group of resistance againSt the machine of barabarie called Israel.
Israel is an artificial state crated in 1948 ,born from a fiction and populated mainly by jews from ather regions.
why should palestinains accept to yield their land to foreigners?

What is shoking is that you even ignore that Hamas is a palestinain resistant group which has nothing to do with Labenon .but i'm sure you must do a great politician.

What we have here is hysterical Israeli propoganda. For 60 plus years, it has been the state of Israel that has destroyed Palestinians.
The Israeli army at its birth had 60,000 soldiers going village to village in November 1947 to "transfer" (Ben Gurion) the Palestinian civilians out of their homes and create a Jewish majority. If you study Israeli state archives and the diaries of its founders (c.f. Tom Segev and Benny Morris), you will see that this attack was premeditated and occurred without any Palestinian or Arab aggression.
The Arab states, reluctantly, and under the command of Great Britain (Zionism's protector), entered the area allotted to the Palestinians in May of 1948. By May, the Haganah (Israeli army) had already taken more territory than was allegedly given to them by the UN Partition plan (the General assembly vote was non-binding). With the exception of a small Egyptian move beyond Gaza, no Arab army "attacked Israel," as hysterical, bewitched Zionists claim. Study the maps of the war or the writings of ex Israeli statesmen like Shlomo Gazit or Uri Avnery.
The UN was reconsidering its nonbinding partition after the war and sent mediator Counte Folke Bernadotte to Palestine to cool the issue. The Israelis assassinated him.
The same logic now informs the Gaza war. Even though the official Israeli foreign ministry website acknowledges that it was Israel breaking the cease fire in November, not Hamas missles; and even though the plans for the Gaza invasion were approved by Barak six months before; Israel plays the victim and claims that "Hamas is raining missles on Israel"--missles that killed nobody during the response to the Israeli provocation. The poor Israeli victim killed over 1000 people.Some were children with phosphorous bombs. An American doctor working in a Gaza hospital exhibited photos of Israel's use of chemical weapons at Sharjah University in the United Arab Emirates (February 2009). No propoganda can explain away these atrocities.
Indeed, this era of propoganda is not going over well with the world as people are finding the truth outside of official zionist sources. This act of playing victim while inflicting immense terror and pain on the Palestinians (and others in the region, such as the Lebanese, Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanians, and now Sudan) is a total hoax.
It is time for US Americans to stop aid to Israel. This will silence the war machine and its propoganda.

I believe this for some reason, it seems to make sense to me. I know that it will infuriate many people to think that there are people in governments that would even consider something like this for anyone...but I come from a heritage that has experienced things like this at the hands of the U.S. Government and I am supposed to be happy and have national pride of my Country (The US of A)? I am no fool and I know that people like you and I are in for a long ride in our lifetimes dealing with the people who refuse to accept that maybe there is a remote possibility that the isrealies and and americans and europeans have a common goal in seizing the sympathies and the blessings of the people of the world, using tactics that are less than tasteful and downright criminal against humanity.
But what do we know, we are only thinking with what little time we have here on planet earth right?
