to say its not new is an understatement - this case is 23 years old - it is about something that happened in 1985.
Which is basically why no one cares - story will die quickly.
this is a conspiracy theory that Israelis were being behind 9/1.

1- Following your concept, you are as much racist as you are accusing me.
2- I never said Israelis were behind the 9/11 plot.
3- I am not discussing ideas, or theories, I asked about certain facts, if you like, I can provide you the video links from Fox news channel.
4- Your way of trying to supress any discussion that is against your beliefs is amazingly against everything you have been saying you stand for. This is so hypocrite!!!
5- Due to al the above points, and your posting attitude, I directed my question to Hayk, and members who are capable of conducting decent discussion.

Dr. - I call em like I see em.
to disagree is fine - it is expected on this form.
First it was the "Jewish problem" - now it is Israelis behind 9/11.
At the beginning of this thread you were casting suspicion on Jews as being disloyal citizens - as a Jewish American, that is pretty offensive -
it really does not matter if you are 'polite' in how you say it - I would say there is a common thread to your thinking.

1- The incident about the Israeli spy, I didn't create it, it was all over the news last week.
2- The point about Jewish citizens never crossed my mind, the thread is about Israel spying on the US, your level of paranoia is really high, or perhaps you are the one who needs to grow skin over your nerve endings.
3- You called me racist when I asked about another event that was over the news, I didn't know Israel is a race!!! You need to distinguish between Jews and Israelis, if you don't then this simply means that Israel is a country based on racism.
4- I never mentioned that Israelis were behind 9/11, if you checked the links, you would have found that there is evidence showing that Israelis had previous knowledge of the attack. This is from Fox news channel, not Aljazeera channel.
6- I can see you lack the ability toaccept any point of view that is not in agreement with your preset prespectives, and or the ability for conducting any decent or civilized discussion.

Guys please try to be polite and understanding of each other.
Luke I know well how much prejudices and stereotypes are there in the air about Jews. I am living in Egypt and here many people stil think that Protocols of Zion are reality.
I don't think Dromarof accused Israelis of being behind 9/11 but the fact that few times in the past - i can give you examples if need be - Israelis and Americans came close to having diplomatic scandal, these are facts.
Again, guys, I understand Luke's attitude towards similar prejudices but please try to show respect and mutual understanding. Remember that anyone on TIG Discussion Board is already a cut above many others of their respective societies and therefore are more perceptive and culturally sensitive.

please Dr. tell what you meant by this - what did you mean to imply? what implications are one meant to draw?
as for the 84 year old man who was in the news last week - you certainly wanted to celebrate it and get as much miliage out of it as possible -
if I started a thread jumping up and down about an Arab spy from 23 years ago you would probably question my motives and what I wished to accomplish by propogandizing it.

to begin - there are no links provided on this subject Dr. - but don't bother because I know the racist conspiracy theories which have been floating around the middle-east - and I know the Fox News peice (that paragon of journalism) and have already seen it, it does not imply what you claim it does - and if there was real evidence behind it then other outlets would have picked it up and Fox itself would have sun a follow up story.
I am from New York - I was HERE on Sept 11 - I know a number of Jews, and indeed Israeli jews who died in the 9/11 attacks personally.

As before when you discussed the "jewish problem" I think unfortunately anti-jewish sentiment has become so common in the middle-east that you don't even recognise it when it comes out of your mouth.
you probably did not even realize that terms like the "Jewish problem" were loaded and offensive terms.
rejecting anti-semetism is not a matter of "not accepting those with different opinions" - it is an issue of rejecting racial libels.
You offer the same arguement that Holocaust deniers use - that rejection of Holocaust denial stems from an inability to "accept different viewpoints"
Dr. my girlfriend was born in Shiraz - she is muslim - we do not always agree on politics - I have no problem listening to other viewpoints - I do have a problem with anti-semetism (ie libel against Jews) and its implications.
now why not attempt in the future to have more pleasent conversations and a little sensitivity to these issues.

Qouting out of context is not honest luke. I referred to "Jewish problem", AS CONSIDERED by the Germans during world war II in comparison to "Muslims problem" AS CONSIDERED by Europeans nowadays. Or may be you think I am anti-muslims too?
As you said previously to Arslan, you can not prove a negative, so I don't need to prove anything to you.
And by the way, it wasn't me who stated in the media that 9/11 was good for Israel, of course, he also might be thinking of different things, and has some other explanation or paraphrasing of the statement, well, he is the one to be asked about it.
The question I asked Hayk, was simply it was my first time to read about the information, after 7 years. I had no details about it, or how authentic it was, and that is why I meant to ask Hayk about it, being unbiased about the subject, that is all.
As for the Holocaust, whether it is true or not, or whether the numbers of the jews are real or not is not my concern, since neither I, my ancestors, nor any of the Muslims, or Arab countires had committed it. You certainly would like to refer to acts committed by Israel 20 years ago as trivial incidents, but still play the Holocaust card against someone who had nothing to do with it? The Holocaust, whether the victims were Jews, Africans, Arabs, Muslims, Christians, or even German citizens is a crime by all standards. But we (Muslims and Arabs) didn't commit it!!!! Your post clearly shows the sensitive party here.
As for Golda's Qoutation, it simply meant that even though Israel is best friend with the US, still, they are looking for their best interest no matter what, which is understandable of course, but stop claiming otherwise. Finally, you still have the problem to understand the difference between Jews and Israelis, if you don't, you need to at least understand that for us (Muslims and Arabs) there is a huge difference between Jews and Israelis.
