Saving our trees

Trees are being cut down more and more every day. That is relatively familiar information. In well off countries thousands of trees are used daily to construct work places and homes. I think everyone should brain storm ways to lesson their negative impact on the environment so eventually it will make a difference. The same companies ruining nature are also polluting it. Even the limits set for loggers don't hold nearly as steady as they should. It is becoming almost a common belief to think that anyone has the right to just use up any natural resource they wish. If this continues, nothing beautiful will remain and the accusations will begin to be tossed.

i Agree completely with u. i think that either the restrictions arent strong enough or govt.s cant infact control companies that are cutting down trees and destroying plant life and wildlife. i even remember hearing some govt.s grant permits to pollute in order to reduce the amount of forests that are destroyed and the pollution that is caused by the heavy gases that are emitted by the industries in the name of development. this idea is so pathetic, the ppl who get this permit are bound to pollute without any limits!
if they can make man made forests y cant they make them and cut them for development purposes and leave the original forests alone...wood is very important so i think no matter what we do ppl wont stop cutting trees but they should plant twice as many trees as they cut.

Becuase technology is so advanced now a-days, people have no reason to act the stupid part, not knowing if they are destroying the environment.

What gets me is that the leaders don't see that one day they will just be fighting over an ugly big brown, resource depleted, wasteland. Instead of fighting over it and spending money to go to war, they should spend the money taking care of it and it's inhabitants.

i totally agree with all you guys!!...
The other day, when i was in a little vegan cafe, they had
a poster up on the wall which said something like "between 6 large corporations(one of which is bunnings) 8.2 billion acres of forests are cut down EACH YEAR"....
Its so stupid, its like they're whinging about all the pollution when they're creating it themselves, and they're also cutting down the trees which help cleanse the air!!

preventing the action of cutting down trees is urgently needed. the people as well as the government should be concerned with this matter since we realize the damages and the upcoming harms. i think one of many ways that can be done by the government at this moment is to make a harsh restriction for people to cut down trees in need of unnecessary importances. the government could also recruit jobless to work to rehabilitate forests and to start a project of making the cities "green". well, this is what i could think of as the solution of the the trees cutting down problem. i'd be glad to hear your opinions as well.
