All the controversy is helping the film reach a wider audience - I never would have seen it if not for all the hub-bub.
It is a pretty uncompromising film. I don't think it gives you the proper perspective or a balanced view because it doesn't mitigate its message with perhaps more positive passages from the Koran.
however, instead of simply being angry, perhaps muslims should reflect on how the radicals are taking control of the dialogue and the religion.
the moderates need to take it back.

I you dont have any clue about arabo-muslim culture, yes indeed this film will help you to be blind... attention.... for example is like if a theologi of liberation, crazy evangelist o elsewhere meant a projet to destroy muslim, is not the majority of muslims, but what is true is that this minorty is quite dangerous and you dont see in arab world many voices that they stand up

Video maker as Politician have not to build popularity from the controversy matter. more over about religion. Politician have to had good morals and ethique and intention to built global peace. Who get advantages? I think none.

The most silly movie that I'v ever watched in my life.
It was better for me to watch CARTOON than this movie.
I told this not only because I'm moslem. No friends
Let we see all things in FITNA movie...they just take all negative issues of islam here
they forget if THEY ALSO BOMBING other country worstly.
I dont know well why they REPEAT again stupid things like this after cartoon of our Prophet maden by them also.
I believe all people in this nation is not STUPID so they understand which one the trully movie or just silly movie

i just watshed the movie and i also watch the responds from the prof. and others...
i could did understand an iota from the responds and it seems to be that we have to be very careful and take good notice of it....
it states that.... WE... meaning?.... the islam believers take the words into their own hands and inflicts their believes and justice on others..
christains.... sees it as HE(GOD) will burn them in hell fires
whiles muslim sees it as (WE)THE BELIEVERS themselves will take the actions....
please if i am wrong i stand correction but according to the responds from the profes. i believe i am correct.
if it is true then muslims judge people or unbelievers but ........we all want GOD(ALLAH) to do his wish not us the humans... so pls go through the Koran and see the context too...
PEACE IS ALLL WHAT I WANT US ALL TO LIVE IN...NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS.....ONLY PEACE PLEASE
